If you are already driving to us, please call us so we can prepare for your arrival and provide initial triage and advice over the phone.

Wave Vets will provide emergency veterinary care and first aid to any pets that need us urgently.

Texts, messages or emails are not constantly monitored at evenings and weekends, so please don't use these for urgent communication.

What if we are closed?

When we are closed, our answer phone message will direct you to our out-of-hours provider based in Summercourt, just a 20 minute drive from Wadebridge.

Alternatively, call our out-of-hours provider directly on 01872 890100 and state that you are a Wave Vets client. You will then need to take your pet to them for emergency treatment and bring them back to us in the morning should they need further treatment.

Following your pet's visit, our out-of-hours provider will send us the clinical records to ensure continuity of care.
