Our independence is at the foundation of what makes us special. With no hidden corporate shareholders, we offer total transparency to our clients and put you back in control of your pets’ health.
Wave Vets was founded by a local family for the local community and following unwavering support and constant reinvestment we have built our practice, together, from the ground up.
Powered by the support of the community we love, we aim to challenge what is conventionally possible within veterinary practice, elevate the standard of care for our pets and provide a bespoke veterinary service to all our lovely clients. We would love to welcome you into the Wave family.

Traditional 10-minute consultations are simply not long enough so we are proud to offer 20-minute consultations as standard. By investing this time, we can build strong, trusting relationships with both pets and their people! By keeping our team small, we can also offer excellent continuity of care giving us a better long-term understanding of your individual pets’ health.
Our staff are palpably passionate about client education and are genuinely interested in veterinary medicine and animal health, so we know that helping you understand and make informed decisions is just as important as treating your pets. You’ll find our vets drawing diagrams on whiteboards, talking you through test results, answering follow-up questions and directing you to more information whenever possible.
We set our team up to succeed by constantly reinvesting in cutting-edge diagnostic facilities including our in-house laboratory, ultrasound machines, endoscopy, x-ray and well-equipped surgical theatre. Our facilities coupled with our teams in depth understanding of veterinary medicine, science and surgery allow us to care for your pets when they need us most.

We are really proud of our friendly, expert team of vets and nurses. Together, our team delivers a superior service in all areas of veterinary care, ranging from orthopaedic and soft-tissue surgery to diagnostic imaging, cardiology and critical-care.
Having undertaken hundreds of hours of advanced post-graduate training, our vets are able to encompass all aspects of modern veterinary care and offer you the most up to date advice.
Post-graduate RCVS advanced certificates are held by the majority of our vets helping us distinguish ourselves from other practices and push the boundaries of what you might traditionally expect from “first opinion vets”.

In May 2026 we were awarded General Practice accreditation from the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme.
General Practice accreditation is for primary care practices aiming for the highest standards of clinical care.
